Background
About Michael Coggan
As a Regional Content Producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), I have been creating and delivering compelling and informative content for various platforms, including radio, television, and digital media, for over 30 years. I have a BA in Public Policy, Politics, and Philosophy from the Australian National University, and a passion for covering current affairs and issues that matter to the Australian public. I have almost 40 years of experience as a journalist, working for the ABC in different roles, such as radio news editor, television presenter, and video journalist. I have developed and honed my skills in video editing, broadcast journalism, radio production, and digital media, using various tools and software. I have also collaborated with other content producers, reporters, and editors across the regions, as well as with external stakeholders and sources. My goal is to produce high-quality and engaging content that informs, educates, and entertains the ABC audiences.
