About Michael Collins

My strong education in professional computer related topics, an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) with focuses in Cyber Defense, Network Administration, & PC Support from Jackson State Community College, and completion of a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) at the University of Tennessee at Martin in Business Communication Information Systems are valuable recent assets. Since November of 2022, I have worked and gained invaluable experience as an IT Support Technician assisting with upgrading an antiquated network and user devices to current, modern standards. I am actively seeking jobs that will meet and/or exceed my present skill and experience levels, preferably related to Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security & Defense, Network Administration, PC Support, and Hardware/Computer Repair, to focus my career in a particular direction and utilize the skills learned and developed in college. Furthermore, I have also acquired and mastered skills in my minor area of study, Accounting, as well as in Business Management, my second major and Bachelor's degree. I have found that after studying Accounting I would be interested in the field of account auditing or working in an Information Systems department within an accounting firm where I could assist with database management. My past work experience, which forms the foundation of technical and applicable transferrable skills I possess with which to build my career, includes Mathematics Tutor, Inside Sales, Telemarketing, Army Records Specialist, Customer Service/Satisfaction, and IT Student Worker with a demonstrated history of working in an office setting, processing customer orders, delivery satisfaction, shipping/receiving, and inventory management skills.
