Career Overview - With over 25 years in the energy sector, I have a broad range of experience in consulting, energy production and business development within Tasmania, nationally and internationally. I have a keen interest in leadership and people development which combined with my ability to relate and empathise with people, provide me with the ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve a common goal. I also have strong analytical and problem solving skills that have enhanced my management and leadership outcomes in the past. I have a passion for working in the energy and water sectors and I am currently looking for a leadership role in these industries. Skills and Capabilities • Ability to lead and manage large and diverse teams within a high pressure environment, including real time energy dispatch and meeting customer deadlines. • In depth understanding of the national energy market and national water sector, including knowledge of the risk management approach and commercial drivers in both sectors, from both an operational and strategic perspective. • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills developed through management of large teams, media interviews (radio and television), Board reporting requirements, conference and stakeholder/community presentations and facilitation of groups. • Strong analytical and problem solving capability developed through my studies and analysis work. • Development and implementation of strategy through roles in senior leadership teams over the past 15 years.
