About Michael Cornacchia

Hello, my name is Michael Cornacchia and I have been working in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. I studied acting at the University of Southern California where I received my BA in Theatre way back in the 1900s. Upon graduation, I was fortunate enough to book my first SAG commercial for Toys R Us, gaining entry into the guild. I continued to work in commercials, television, film, and voice overs. At the same time, I found myself also working in the world of events and catering. I love a good party where everyone gets a chance to let loose and not worry about work for a few hours. I started way back in the day entertaining children at birthday parties across Los Angeles and Orange counties dressed as whatever popular kid character was hot at the moment from Sponge Bob to Pikachu. Now I work at a private park in Agoura Hills managing and hosting huge corporate events. I’m also very proficient on social media with accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. The latter account just hit 15K followers for my Vote Blue campaign. I also became a COVID Compliance Officer for sets and live events when the virus was at its peak. It was an interesting time coming up with protocols and implementing procedures for production to commence and continue safely. It was a job that was needed but one we all knew would end once the virus was gotten under control. I never loved a job that I wanted to end so much. I’ve grown an incredible amount from my time working in COVID compliance, met some amazing people, and performed tasks that I never thought I would have to do like making sure masks were on backstage during a Broadway hit at one of Los Angeles’s oldest theaters. I have had many jobs in my life and have learned a lot from all of them. I’m competent, tenacious, resourceful, a listener, a team player, and I also know when I don’t know. I find that to be when I’m at my best because finding out the solution to a problem only helps sharpen your skill set so that the next problem may not be so difficult to solve. I work well with others and am usually adored by my peers because I never think I am better than anyone else and I know that the greatest accomplishments happen when people work together in supporting one another to overcome challenges.
