MICHAEL A. Michael’s career began with nearly 25 years at The Walt Disney Company, where he held transformative roles such as SVP and GM of Shanghai Disney Resort. He led the $4.5B project’s negotiation, development, and launch, forming a seamless partnership between Disney and Chinese stakeholders and managing over employees. He also contributed to launching five Disney destinations globally, including Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Tokyo DisneySea, driving Disney’s international expansion. After Disney, Michael served as President of Portfolio Management and the Asia Pacific Region for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. He led the design, development, and operation of branded residential projects valued at over $10B, doubled asset growth in Asia, and helped craft a multi-billion-dollar strategic plan to elevate the brand globally. His expertise in capital planning, quality initiatives, and owner relationships cemented Four Seasons' position as a leader in luxury hospitality. Michael served as Chairman, President, and CEO of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co.(NASDAQ: HOFV) until May 2025, where he lead the creation of Hall of Fame Village, a premier sports and entertainment destination. Under his leadership, the company went public in 2020 and expanded into media production and eGaming. This innovative approach positioned the company as a leader in leveraging the power of professional football to deliver cutting-edge content. Michael also holds influential board positions, including Chair of the Compensation Committee for Texas Roadhouse (NASDAQ: TXRH) and Lead Independent Director for Seaport Entertainment Group (NYSE: SEG). Additionally, he has shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Mount Union mentoring future leaders.
