Experience: Assistant SOC Manager As the Assistant SOC Manager my main responsibilities are over seeing the SOC's performance, quality of work, guidance, mentoring and reviewing performance with the analysts. I work closely with each analyst in providing extra coaching, extending their investigation skills and mentorship for professional growth. I attend regular meetings to review, adjust and oversee tuning requests, automation tasks, playbooks and overall SOC performance. I also attend regular meetings with clients to assure their service is meeting and exceeding their expectations and build a great relationship. mentor analysts, streamline security workflows, and implement new detection strategies to enhance SOC efficiency. I am extremely passionate about the cybersecurity field, staying on top of emerging threats, improving SOC processes, and advancing my engineering knowledge. I do this by actively engaging in cybersecurity communities such as CTF, Lets Defend, and Hack The Box. My previous roles has allowed me to gain deeper knowledge within the organization as I started out as a Tier 1 and moved into Tier 2 from there I migrated over to other departments when needed such as the Automation team where I developed automated playbooks to assist the SOC work load. I also moved into the Splunk team where I played a major role in developing use cases and matching them on the MITRE frame work, developed playbooks for the SOC also assisting the SOC with investigations and escalations.
