About Michael Cusack

An experienced and highly effective leader of operations, my expertise spans managing commercial projects, commercial property leasing, fit out and relocation, risk management, change management and driving continuous improvement initiatives through visible and accountable leadership. As Operations Manager with BMT I am fully accountable for commercial leasing and accomodation requirements. My teams provide services such as facilities, document services, corporate travel, general procurement and hardware asset management. I'm most proud of my leadership of the APAC IT team, and the successful delivery of key internal change and improvement projects. In 2023 I was promoted to lead the inaugural Project Management Office (PMO). At Colin Biggers & Paisley I led 3 nationally distributed offices through comprehensive change programs, driving improvements across service provision and business capability. I drove the establishment of the Better Business team, establishing and embedding new policies and procedures designed to mitigate risk and drive a culture of excellence. In the years I spent with McCullough Robertson Lawyers, nominally as Operations Manager, my primary focus was on leading a suite of commercial lease procurement, construction, development and major change projects. As the subject matter expert and leader of change, a significant part of the role was stakeholder engagement and influencing.
