About Michael Dabate

I would say that, thus far, throughout my life, there has been up's and downs and I have learnt so much, even without knowing it. However, in order to add meaning and value to this knowledge I would need to share it. By bettering my understanding and knowledge of my life's experiences I owe it to my fellow citizens to give back. As a teacher, I have chosen to give back to individuals with disabilities helping them to experience their own understanding of life. As a life long learner, I hope to be a part of building and sharing knowledge within a an environment conducive to learning. Finally, as a global citizen, I would hope to learn why the system works the way it does to perhaps, even in a small way, promote tolerance, understanding and collaboration within society. Another of my passions is practicing Bikram Yoga, which has changed my life regarding my mental and physical health as well as my profession. My intent is to become a Bikram Yoga instructor and incorporate yoga even further into my teaching profession, daily activities and into my current studies.
