About Michael Dahlkamp

I am a senior at Purdue University studding Construction Management Technology seeking an opportunity to grow and develop with a company full time. I will be Completing my degree in Construction Management in May 2022. I have completed three internships with my time at Purdue. My first summer I worked with a residential contractor working on a custom residential home. On this project, I assisted with excavation and interior finishes. The following summer I worked with the same contractor and assisted in constructing a 1,500 square foot pole barn from start to finish. During this project, I was involved in every task from developing the site logistics plan to putting the exterior façade on the barn. My most recent internship was with Power Construction where I worked on Northwestern Galter Medical Pavilion, which was a live inpatient hospital. While on this project I was tasked to process contract documents, procure materials, punch list, quality assurance, and taking on a part of the project and bringing it to 100% completion. I have unique experience from being both a laborer and project engineer that gives me a better understanding of the construction process
