About Michael Dancosse

HI, Welcome to my profile! I love everything to do with technology. I think it has helped humanity progress in ways we would not have been able to without it. When I was 5 years old, I can remember holding my first game controller (original Nintendo) and playing the original Mario game on NES I was instantly hooked to electronics and gaming. As I got older, and home PCs became more widely available, I had to convince my parents to get one for me! Staying up late on weekends with my father and playing games like Blizzard's own Starcraft are fond memories of mine. PC games typically need some special upgrades, such as a GPU and CPU, and hard drives would fill up space fast from these games and downloadable music. When I learned this at a very young age, I was more determined to tear the machines down rather than have my parents help me get them fixed. I can remember my best friend and me swapping out hard drives like we were IT professionals at a very young age. At that time, I knew what I wanted to do as a career! I someday wish to get my IT certifications and showcase my skills to employers and further increase my knowledge within the cybersecurity field.
