Background
About Michael Daniel
I am currently a Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. I obtained my MD/PhD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the lab of Dr. Kateri Moore and Dr. Ihor Lemischka. My research involved transcription factor based reprogramming of human dermal fibroblasts to hemogenic endothelial cells, which are then capable of generating functional hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells after suitable in vitro conditions. I have completed my AP/CP residency as well as my Hematopathology fellowship at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
