Senior planning, programming and process support analyst with 30 years of experience—15 years active duty in the Air Force followed by 20+ years on the Air Staff with the AF Surgeon General (AF/SG)- Deep understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) and USAF Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes - Extensive experience working closely with Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) leadership and action officers (especially in the areas of research, data analysis, and preparing senior leaders for congressional testimony and executive meetings)- Great familiarity with DoD, Military Health System (MHS), and AFMS automated tools and processes, e.g, Task Management Tool, Knowledge Exchange, Resource Allocation Programming Information Decision System (RAPIDS), and the Medical Planning and Programming Tool (MPPT)- Extensive knowledge, understanding, and experience working with a broad range of DoD, MHS, Air Force and AF/SG policies, instructions and other publications, especially those related to medical operations, pharmacy, planning, programming, and resource allocation - Expert knowledge of the “A-Staff model”, current organizational structure and operations of DoD, AF, Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA), Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA), Air Force Inspection Agency (AFIA), Inspector General (IG) Office, and US Government Accountability Office (GAO)- Highly computer literate in a wide variety of systems and software—Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project)
