About Michael Decker

I am an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), where I also serve as the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and the Medical Director of the Center for Advanced Care Orthopaedic Clinic. I have a Master of Science in Surgery and a Fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstructive Surgery from Western University, and a Doctor of Medicine from University of Illinois College of Medicine. In my previous role as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine, I was the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs and the Medical Director of the Center of Excellence for Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation. I worked with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, nurses, therapists, and administrators to provide high-quality care to patients with complex orthopaedic conditions. I also contributed to the education and training of residents and fellows, and conducted research on various topics related to orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation. I am passionate about advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery and improving the outcomes and experiences of patients. I value collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
