About Michael Delaney

I am an outgoing, driven individual, with a passion for finance. I have recently graduated with distinction, earning an Advanced BBA with a major in finance and a minor in economics at St. Francis Xavier University. I strive for continuous learning both inside and outside the classroom to mould myself into a high-caliber employee. I was one of four Schwartz National Scholar's in my academic class, having earned this prestigious award through exemplary academic achievement and community involvement. Among past experience and achievements, I completed a research study on small business performance in New Brunswick in 2019, consisting of various businesses throughout New Brunswick as subjects of my test group to understand how small businesses can succeed in small markets. Throughout my time at Saint Francis Xavier University, I developed myself into a well-rounded individual through various volunteer positions and roles throughout campus and in the Gerald Schwartz School of Business. In my last year at StFX, I served as Chapter President of Best Buddies Canada at X, VP of Finance of JDCC at Schwartz, and Captain of StFX's Finance Team in National case competitions.
