About Michael Delong

In January of 2020, I started teaching full-time for Keiser University Flagship in the Sport Management program, eventually going into the online teaching role for the campus. In August of 2022, I relocated back to Texas to be closer to home, still teaching online for Keiser. In January of 2023, I became the new Learning Delivery Specialist for N.E. Texas in the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances ministry. In this position, I ran the New Associate Orientation, along with facilitating different leadership classes such as Back 2 Basics, GLINT Training, and Fierce classes such as Coaching and Feedback. This position also allowed me to conduct different Teambuilding classes for different departments at the ministry. I also had the opportunity to be the point of contact for the RISE Mentorship Program with my ministry, helping get the applicants ready for their interviews, and everything going forward. As of April 8, 2024, I am the new Academic Advisor I at University of Texas at Tyler, getting back to my passion of working with students and helping them not only with their classes, but also helping them figure out life. In Summer 2025, I will also adjunct the Sport Management class at UT Tyler, and extend that class to Spring 2026 and hopefully beyond.
