About Michael Demos

I like learning difficult things. As as a kid, learning mathematics was like working on a giant puzzle that captivated my attention and I’m still excited to learn more. As a professional, I want to use mathematics to learn more about the world we live in and help others to understand mathematics too. Fitting together more pieces to the puzzle is my passion. Here are some of the ways I work with and communicate mathematics: Categorize and analyze information Collect data in diverse ways from formative and summative assessments and use them to manage team dynamics Analyze data on learning evidence to make informed decisions in planning and grading Look for patterns to understand why something is happening and make predictions Break down and convey complex concepts to large groups of inexperienced people every day Differentiate instruction practices to fit the various needs of specific individuals Communication Build and manage relationships with and between coworkers, students, school administrators, and guardians Plan, design, and implement several presentation and instructional materials per day Facilitate engaging informational experiences for 90 students daily and repeat with a new set of 90 students each year
