About Michael Derry

I'm a Landscape Designer and 3D modeler with a focus on hardscape design. I combine my skills and passion into amazing visuals that bring our client's designs to life. I then follow through with the project by working out technical details and creating any drawings required for permits and for the construction crews to follow. My broad academic foundations and wide-ranging work experience have given me a unique perspective on each new position I've taken on. I'm an artist, designer, and problem solver but have sometimes been asked to step into management or support roles to keep projects running smoothly. Just as importantly, however, I've also learned when to step back to allow everyone to do what they're best at. My real passion is to create things; to take the spark of an idea, expand on it, and bring it to life. Learning new methods and technologies along the way is icing on the cake. I enjoy passing on what I've learned to help other professionals in any way I can.
