I began my paramedic career in 2010 working for and private ambulance company, prior to that I was a Sergeant in the Marines with two deployments to Iraq under my belt. I initially had my eye set on a career in law enforcement but was told Fire/EMS was the way too go. I went to Tri-C's Fire Academy in 2008 and received my EMT-B shortly after, and in 2010 received my EMT-P. Long term I'd like to one day be a full time fire fighter, this however is a difficult task. till that day will be working full time at UHPMC and part time(full time hours) at NCSHFD. In the long run it's all for my family, everything I do is always in support of my wife and two children.
