Architecture is crucial to our future lives as because it is a collective means to solving significant climatic and systemic issues. What pulls me to architecture? It is an opportunity to express a the level of compassion - both human and material instincts - that can fundamentally change the way we live. Architecture is an opportunity to be considerate of things in-relation to other things. Whether it be tectonic, environmental, or social, any 'architectural process' seeks to balance relationships between elements over time and space. This process is important, because the resulting architectural product is compromise, a reflection of different priorities fitting together. Sustainable architecture is about inclusion on a myriad of scales. Sustainability needs to be understood as, a mode of operation or way of thinking. Systematic thinking - caring for one another, where we live, and how our decisions interact - according to complex social needs and environmental conditions. I am a self-disciplined, compassionate worker that responds well to feedback but stays true to their creative instincts. I can spend long hours working on various detailed tasks. I am constantly working to learn new skills and can bring a lot of positivity to a team environment. I lead by example and believe that hard work works hard. I embrace a work ethic and routine in my studies that has allowed me to learn greatly from failures and succeed despite adverse or 'unprecedented'' conditions. I have work experience in both managerial and academic environments. I'm very approachable, exceptionally driven, and I love learning.
