Chartered Accountant passionate about bringing insights and best practises from the for-profit sector to the NGO/development sector. I simplify, optimise, and adapt procedures and strategies to ensure that an organisation's goals are being met and then exceeded. My previous experience centres on five years spent as the Chief Operating Officer of the Centre ValBio Research Centre in Madagascar, and before that being manager in the Advisory/Consulting line of service at PwC. These experiences have taught me: I can lead and grow a development organisation- I excel at executing big ideas even given tight constraints - I put the vision at the heart of all my decision-making - I trust my instincts, but always follow the data I can create, develop, and drive effective and passionate teams in the development sector- I speak exec and academic - I can tell the on-the-ground narratives that donors and decision-makers need - The buck always stops with me I educate, improve, and drive myself to develop- I am always learning; every success is just a platform to the next lesson - I stay calm when a level head is needed, and I am passionate when energy is required - I focus on making the right decision to drive the long-term vision Through my work, I aim to foster a greater appreciation for the natural world and inspire others to take action to protect it.
