About Michael Dorsett

I have 23+ years of experience working in the Direct Marketing and Fulfilment industry. My role has changed considerably in that time. Originally I was data focused, using MS Access and then Cygnus (which I've been using since before it came to market). I became heavily involved in setting up complex data processing routines that could be re-used for automated processing and focused mostly on pushing the boundaries of the splerge scripting module. With the release of GMC Printnet Suite I shifted my focus to document composition. This involved constructing complex workflows that involve data processing/document composition or document manipulation. In 2016, I helped Imprimus shift their email solution from Inxmail to GMC Messenger. This now allows for full automation of emails from data receipt, validation, creation, upload and reporting.Since joining Paragon in 2018, I have led the implementation and support team for our 'Hybrid Mail' solutions. Initially within the Redruth site, but now expanding the role to support it's use in our various sites around the UK.
