About Michael Drake

As a student of Year Up, I am introduced to new technology and techniques almost everyday. For example; Hardware, Software Application, Virtual Machines, and Programming are subjects that require critical thinking and hard work to understand. Although these are all great tracks, I am currently pursuing an entry level position in Software Application. Math has always been my favorite subject, and I am now able to combine that with multiple data bases in order to become a successful data analyst. My knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access has grown tremendously through Year Up's Software course where I learned techniques such as mail merge, track changes, IF functions, and even pivot tables. Now that I am a proud Year Up alumn, I plan take the next step by seeking an entry level logistics associate position within the Chicago area.
