About Michael Dreyer

Michael has 15+ years of geotechnical planning, design, and project management experience and has a proven track record of delivering complex projects for mining, power, manufacturing, and transportation clients. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Missouri and Lead Consultant and Senior Geotechnical Engineer with WSP, where he manages the Geological Engineering Team in WSP's Creve Coeur, MO office. Michael obtained an undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering from Missouri S&T and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical emphasis from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Michael is responsible for managing complex projects and coordinating field investigations, conducting geotechnical and rock mechanics calculations, and preparing technical reports for a range of geotechnical, mining, and environmental projects; including underground support design, rock mass characterization and mine layout, numerical modeling, tunnel evaluation and rehabilitation, slope stability, landfill/CCR capping and closure, soil and groundwater monitoring and remediation, and permitting.
