Leader in the field of gas fermentation with over a decade of experience and demonstrated success in a fast-paced startup-to-SPAC environment. What motivates me? Harnessing the power of biology, biodesign, and big data to solve sustainability problems related to food, energy, transportation, and economic prosperity. Currently my scientific interests are in the areas of nutrition, renewable energy, CO2 utilization, biotechnology, fermentation, and genetic engineering. I'm also interested in the business models, financing mechanisms, organization and strategies that allow for successful commercialization of new biotechnologies. Professionally, I enjoy working at the intersection of technology, policy, and business. I thrive in research development and deployment, consulting, international development, policy, entrepreneurial and project-based work.
