About Michael Ebe Kalu

Michael is currently an assistant professor of rehabilitation therapy at the School of Kinesiology and Health, Faculty of Health Science, York University. He is also the scientific director of Emerging Researchers & Professionals in Ageing-Africa Network. He has over the years developed vast skills which include, research, clinical, communication and leadership skills. Presently, he is working on the capacity of collaborating with organisations or individuals that either conducts researches(policy, evidence-based or practice) or provide services to the older population. His research interests are (in broad terms)(a) mobility-related issues in older adults and (b) professional education, training and and strategies to improve interest in working with older adults, and (c) quality living of older visible minorities (e.g black older adults) to improve mobility issue and social outcomes.
