About Michael Erard

Michael Erard has been a professional photographer since 2005, successfully turning a lifelong passion into a rewarding career. What began as a hobby soon became a calling—one that continues to inspire his work every day. Born and raised in France, Michael comes from an artistic family that includes a well-known pastel artist and a sculptor. His earliest inspiration came from his uncle, an amateur photographer, who sparked Michael’s fascination with the medium. That initial spark has grown into a deep, enduring love for photography—something he believes his clients can feel in every image he creates. Michael holds a degree in Industrial Science and Technology, but ultimately chose to pursue photography full-time after relocating to Florida. For nearly two decades, he has specialized in architectural, portrait, and product photography. His work with VHT Studios has led to published images in Orlando Homes + Garden, Land and Homes, and other regional magazines. In addition, his portrait and landscape photography has been featured in several books. Now based on Florida’s East Coast—also known as the Space Coast—Michael is fluent in both French and English and has been a U.S. resident for over 20 years. When he’s not photographing for clients, he’s chasing natural light and scenery by day, and capturing the starry skies by night. His genuine care, artistic eye, and commitment to quality have made him a trusted name among those seeking images with meaning and impact
