About Michael Espada

Michael Espada is a dedicated leader, with a passion for Banking, Economics, and Community Development. Dedicated to improving the efficiency and development of business from a young age. He received his first management position at the age of 19 managing a project at Yale University as a subcontractor for the rehabilitation of their window limiters. Continuing to prove himself year over year through his process of proactive problem solving he was given larger and larger projects, eventually managing 5 crews and up to 50 employees across multiple sites. Taking that experience as a project manager, a degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics he finally went to pursue his passion in banking. Joining Bank of America shortly after graduation he quickly became a top performer and a leader within the Underwriting and Fulfillment Department. He was able to pitch multiple projects to upper management assisting to lead the direction of the department while maintaining top performance in individual contributor, client facing role. Through this he has gained value experience taking on special projects in the following areas- Training and Development projects - Processes Design projects - Employee Engagement Projects - Business Intelligence projects His passion for community development continues after the workday with the following activities-"Big" for Big Brother Big Sister of Greater Hartford - Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, and CT Food Bank - Lead one of the largest Semi-Annual Car Show Fundraisers in CT for 4 years After graduation he never stopped his education- Completed 19 Harvard ManageMentor Courses - 99 articles read, 34 books read, 88 videos watched, and 152 courses taken through Bank of America’s The Academy - Picked by leadership for 2 different Leadership Development Programs - Audible subscriber interested in Professional Development, Business Development, History, Politics, and Economics
