Michael is an optimistic, problem solving, and relationship oriented Technical Project Lead in the Automotive and Mobile Industry. His experience focuses on product creation and innovation in the Digital Aftersales Customer Journey. His strength is to collaborate and orchestrate cross-functional and cross-culture teams to achieve the common goals of the organization. With his strong IT background and consultant experience, Michael serves as a bridge between Business development and Technology in the teams. Some of the recent highlights include: Developed a transition strategy for project handover and seamlessly executed knowledge transfer from Chicago to Lisbon that aligned with the company IT hub strategy. Leading the set-up of a quality assurance and rollout team for faster market scaling with high customer satisfaction and the integration of local market mobile apps into the global myBMW app. He has extensive international working experience in USA, Portugal, Germany and Australia; and speaks English, German and a little Mandarin (which is quite an amusement for the audience). In his free time, Michael enjoys playing tennis, running, watching stand-up comedy and baking together with his 8-year-old daughter.
