I have extensive experience in fine art making and theater coaching strategies and performance in developing, planning and facilitating diverse imaginative enrichment program activities whether educational, creative, cognitive, spiritual, physical or social. Facilitating ongoing visual and dramatic creative arts programs designed to encourage clients to experiment, explore, discover or reignite their creative skills, talents and abilities with the goal of inspiring and restoring the individual. Assisting clients in realizing their creative potential by focusing on enhancing communication skills and elevating self-esteem along with effecting a healthier lifestyle through understanding basic techniques of concentration, listening, visualization, spontaneity, imagination, relaxation, cooperation, interaction, trust leading to emotional freedom through the implementation of both improvisational, role play and theater game activities as well as visual arts endeavors. Creativity is profoundly curative, and can serve as a life line to those in recovery incapable of expressing themselves in other ways. These creative/expressive groups are intended to function alongside clinical rehabilitation therapy programs with the purpose of allowing clients to explore and discover themselves in a unique and holistic therapeutic manner, rebuilding the self through the purely creative/expressive acts of art making and performance arts.
