About Michael Fiore

I am the President at Fought & Co, a leading steel fabrication company, and REFA Erection Inc, part of the Shoestring Valley Holding portfolio of companies. With a deep passion for community building and teamwork, I bring an extensive background in consulting, management, and leadership to my roles. Ten years ago, I moved to the West Coast to turn around Oregon Feralloy Partners, a joint venture steel processing plant. This role was my first steel industry exposure, and I reported to a JV Board, leveraging CAPEX, team building, and market analysis for strong outcomes over six years. After the 232 tariff act, I became GM at Farwest's Vancouver facility and later co-founded two companies. My career has focused on building and selling businesses, including The Operations Group and The Hydraulics Group in the PDX metro area. Before moving west, I started and sold two businesses on the East Coast. With education in engineering and business administration, I enjoy managing capital to build and rebuild teams, fostering environments where people thrive. I believe in the intersection of health, wellness, and finance to build our community and support a strong regional steel economy. Currently, I drive innovation and sustainable growth at Fought & Co, enhancing our facility and processes. My values-driven leadership emphasizes collective success and continuous improvement.
