About Michael Fitzgerald

I am a Resident Engineer with experience working with various municipal entities in a Civil Engineering and Construction Management role. My work has helped enable my company to become a favored client for multiple departments in the City of Chicago. In my current position I oversee many simultaneously ongoing sewer projects that range from small design-on-the-fly emergency repairs to multi-million dollar reconstructions. In this I am tasked with all the challenges that working deep underground in an urban environment entails. Coordination with private and municipal utility companies requires foresight and diligence. Alleviating the concerns of City Councilmen and local businesses calls for patience and clear communication. My passion for community engenders a deep satisfaction in delivering a project that has been done right, on schedule, and under budget. I take pride in knowing that I help renovate my community's infrastructure in the most efficient way possible.
