I am a highly versatile problem solver with expertise in surface chemistry and heterogeneous catalysis, experienced with process engineering in semiconductor manufacturing. I have 8 years of experience conducting academic research (undergraduate and graduate), where I have led and supported research projects focused on areas of materials science and engineering, analytical chemistry, surface science, heterogeneous catalysis, reaction mechanisms, etc. I have a proven ability to design and execute complex and challenging research projects. As a graduate student and teaching assistant, I developed excellent leadership and communication skills by successfully teaching, mentoring, and supervising several undergraduate and graduate students. Throughout all my work, research, and supervision, I am committed to ensuring a safe work environment and promoting safe work practices. Additionally, through research and teaching labs, I have extensive hands-on experience with installation, calibration, maintenance, and operation of laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation. Through this I’ve developed a keen mechanical aptitude and adaptability to work with a variety of analytical instruments and techniques. I have a year of experience applying my analytical expertise as an application engineer in metrology for semiconductor manufacturing, specialized in thickness and concentration measurements. Through equipment ownership, recipe development, and statistical process control data analysis, I worked to develop, maintain, and enhance production of high-quality semiconductor products. Working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, I was able to provide technical customer support and help the company meet strategic business goals.
