About Michael Forks

As an Employer Representative I at Bridges From School To Work, I have been working to help young adults from diverse backgrounds achieve their career goals and become future leaders. I provide individual and group coaching, guidance, and mentoring to develop their interviewing skills, résumé, and professionalism, and to connect them with employers that match their interests and abilities. I have more than 10 years of experience in youth development, education, and enrichment programs, where I have facilitated and planned academic, physical, and creative activities that promote skill-building, confidence, and character. I have also collaborated with school staff, community partners, and parents to create a positive and supportive culture that reflects the core values of respect, responsibility, persistence, and empathy. I am passionate about creating opportunities and safe spaces for young people to thrive and grow, and to contribute to the social and economic well-being of their communities.
