About Michael Freeland

I was a mortgage banker by trade which has been a very unique blessing. I remember asking God and having the desire to live above the expectations of many. I prayed for a business type job when I graduated high school and because I was an expecting father, needless to say, collage was out of the question. I knew right away that I had to get a job, no permanent assistance for me. I washed dishes at a well know restaurant in Ellicott City Md. and then became an appointment setter for a secretarial training school. Still seeking to become more of an asset, I got a Supervisor position of security at a law firm in Baltimore. That job gave me the experience with dealing with many personalities as I tried to give guidance to employees, clients and visitors. It was there that I saw an ad for an entry level position with then, Maryland National Mortgage. My prayers were answered and I was in corporate America. I realized that it was not the industry but both, some bad people and some bad companies. My desire now is not only to share this network marketing industry with others but do it in a very profession and caring way. This was more then mortgage banking to me, it was my training in many other forms. I learned about people in all aspects of life’s situations. I was thankful for that job and grateful because it propelled through that industry.It was about my 12th year in the industry when a great friend introduced me to network marketing through a company called Excel Telecommunications in 1996. This was a world that I had never known but the concept was very exciting to me. To be compensated for doing what I was doing for free was a no brainer. However, just like corporate America, the industry has good and bad companies. I experienced both as well as people on both sides of the track. You see, you have to take all experiences, good and bad and make them work for you. As a result of bad people and bad companies, I have learned many valuable lessons that I love to share.
