About Michael Gall

A global health professional with over fifteen years of experience with humanitarian assistance, and 10+ years focus improving humanitarian action and accountability towards crises-affected communities. I also serve as the organizational focal point and advocate for the Core Humanitarian Standard, as a full CHS Alliance member I work with multiple departments and country missions worldwide to promote the CHS framework and raise awareness of core concepts and organizational commitments. My professional expertise includes strategic planning, project management, developing organizational policy, procedures and trainings related accountability to affected populations (AAP). As part of the Global Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Department, I help ensure AAP commitments, tools and practices are systematically integrated into MEAL processes. I am also passionate about working with other departments to expand their knowledge and involvement to help ensure more equitable, accountable, and people centered humanitarian action for the communities we aim to assist.
