I’m a biomedical scientist trained in cellular and molecular biology with an emphasis on human disease genetics. I have 17 years of research experience and received my Ph.D. in Cell & Molecular Biology from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. My work has been funded by the National Institute on Neurological Disorders & Stroke, National Institute on Aging, Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Center for Alzheimer's Therapeutic Science and Novo Nordisk. I’m currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Whitehead Institute at MIT using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), epigenetics, and high-throughput CRISPR screens to better understand the functions of human brain cells in health and neurological disease.
