About Michael Garnett

I moved to Seattle in August of 2013, and quickly established a network of clients and employers as a freelance AV Technician. The majority of the work I'm doing these days is corporate A/V, but I still take the occasional opportunity to work concerts with bands. My wife took a promotion at her work that relocated us to the Oklahoma City area in the middle of the COVID lockdown, summer of 2020. I'm grateful that circumstances are safer for more live events, and am fully vaccinated. I believe that success in our industry relies as heavily on strong interpersonal and problem solving skills as it does on technical knowledge alone. My strengths in all these areas have been a large factor in my success throughout my career. I have a particular passion for sound system optimization and I use effective mixing techniques that provide maximum audio quality while reducing unnecessary feedback.
