About Michael Gaskins

I started on the ground floor with WiebeTech, literally. When I started with the company, I reported to work in the basement of James Wiebe's home. I have performed nearly every job function as the company grew. When revenue reached an appropriate level, the company moved to a brick and mortar location outside of the Wiebe's home. As growth allowed, we added more employees to take over the job of packaging, shipping and receiving. We added people for production, sales and I began specializing in Support of the WiebeTech product line. The company continued to grow and I was asked to take on International Sales in addition to Technical Support. I hired an assistant to run support during my travels. Eventually I moved to International sales full time. The company continued to grow and we needed a larger facility so we moved again. Shortly after, we hired a new International Sales person and my job was to develope a training program for our Forensic products, specializing with the Hot Plug product for capturing computers while they are sill running. After WiebeTech was purchased by CRU Dataport, I handled sales for the Central Region of the United States and Canada while still performing training on Hot Plug and the rest of the WiebeTech line. I left CRU/WiebeTech in October of 2009 to pursue my own interests in the Eastern Plains of Colorado. I purchased a 1912 bank building where I plan to open a bakery for my wife and market a line of custom coffees to help support the renovation of the Hugo Roundhouse I work for the local school district as Technology Coordinator, Serve on the Board for the Lincoln County Farm Bureau and most recently I have become involved with the Hugo Economic Development Group.
