About Michael Gasque

Served over 20 years in the Army as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Non- Commissioned Officer and conducted wartime operations during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. While serving in the Army, coordinated logistical needs, provided guidance to command and staff officers in the planning of supplies, operations and training. Reviewed and prepared administrative personnel files, records, reports and became a Certified Instructor. Worked as the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) CBRN NCOIC Observer Controller at JRTC OPS Group (Fort Polk, LA). Assisted and provided technical guidance to command and staff officers in planning of CBRN operations and training situations. I have a bachelor’s degree in Workforce Education Development (WED) from Southern Illinois University (SIU), Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management from Florida State College Jacksonville (FSCJ). Plus, a Technical Certificate for Business Specialist and Logistics & Transportation Specialist from FSCJ. All were on the High Honors list. I bring over 14 years of experience as an Instructional Designer and e-learning Courseware Developer. Instructional Design IV with knowledge of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model, which results in rapid development of e-learning content. I am a team player with the ability to influence others and think strategically in relation to learning solutions. Additionally, I am used to high-impact organizations and can adapt and react quickly to problems and implement effective solutions. My skills consist of developing curricula in a web-based Distance Learning and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) software environment, integrating appropriate and accurate content to optimize learning and training outcomes. I work effectively with diverse groups of people in a corporate or government environment. I am skilled in the development of SCORM and xAPI curricula using Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM), version 9 & 2017 Adobe Captivate, Adobe Audition 2015, and Dreamweaver software along with experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
