About Michael Gavin

I have experience in process re-design, manufacturing, and training, working for world class six sigma and lean business companies and I have proven communication and project management skills in working with people across all levels, i.e. shop floor operators, technical specialists, middle and senior level management on continuous improvement projects and initiatives. I have worked and delivered in a unionized environment to achieve significant success in cycle time reduction, and in operational and quality improvement projects using lean and six sigma tools and methodologies. I have a strong knowledge of lean and six sigma (Black Belt certified) and I have combined this knowledge with my communication skills and my desire to get issues resolved to successfully implement a wide variety of projects. I am qualified as a Cert IV trainer and assessor and currently working in this field, training and assessing to Diploma level in lean systems, and Cert IV level in front-line management.
