About Michael Gerlich

As the Head of Center for Strategic Corporate Foresight and Sustainability and Senior Faculty at SBS Swiss Business School, I lead the center's activities in these very important fields. With over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and consulting in various fields of business and management, I have a strong academic background and a passion for delivering engaging, innovative, and impactful learning solutions. My core competencies include strategy, marketing, change management, and international business, which I apply and share in my teaching, research, and external relations activities. I have published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals, reviewed academic papers and books for reputable publishers, and supervised doctoral students. I also have extensive experience of managing and leading change in large and complex organizations, such as Gilan Holding, Synergy Group, and KfW, where I held senior executive positions. My mission is to empower and inspire the next generation of business leaders and managers with the knowledge, skills, and mindset they need to succeed in a dynamic and competitive global environment.
