I resigned from Authentix® in my former position of Ink Technology Director in October 2019. This was to pursue new business opportunities I found in PixDeco Technologies where microlens-based visual effects were being explored for decorative effects on Arts & Crafts. After a few months of intensive developments in the field of image-embedded 3D optical films, I sold my invention knowledge to Lumenco®, Inc, and joined its newest division ~ dba NanoPixel™ Security Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lumenco, in the position of Director, Brand Solutions Development. My efforts in this newly developing field are focused upon expanding and commercializing a new generation of image-embedded nano-size-pixel micro-lens and micro-mirror technology for a variety of business segments, from banknote anti-counterfeiting, to brand protection, including molding of product components, packaging, and brandmarks. The integration of the novel image embedding technology with Lumenco’s proprietary NanoLock™ and NanoMovi’™ micro-lenses, and Dycyfer™ micro-mirror solutions, is creating a disruptive authentication technology that is world-class due to its variety of flexible applications for consumer-identifiable solutions. These features are highly secure, so document and packaging designers can build-in product authentication features as attractive visual effects that appeal to consumers. The NanoPixel™ technology offers intrinsic unique-ID of each item, label, or package produced, and are traceable in supply chains with new mobile apps under development. Much like currency & banknote, brand owners now seek overt visual anti-counterfeiting features that do not require special tools; and instead can be positively confirmed by only a naked eye in the public domain; yet are features that are impossible for counterfeiters to copy ore create look-alikes on counterfeit products. Yet these NanoPixel™ technologies offer multiple optional layers with covert & forensic-level markers, plus track-n-trace for supply chain integrity solutions.
