About Michael Gerrasch

Michael began his career in the Aluminum industry serving both Ormet Aluminum and Logan Aluminum which exposed him to the entire metals value chain from raw materials through customer service. This provided hands-on manufacturing, operations and process control techniques for two leading Aluminum providers. Michael transitioned into a business consulting role with Accenture where he was part of the Resources group and served clients such as PolyOne, DuPont, Lyondell and BP. He became proficient in integration patterns, MES layers, shop floor integration, project delivery, implementation methodologies, project management, supply chain and business case analysis. Michael moved into a Business Consulting/Market Development role at Software AG with direct responsibilities for multiple verticals including Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Energy and Utilities. He created the go-to-market strategy, refined the sales process, created industry solutions, built a team and grew sales revenue for previously low performing markets. Currently, Michael runs his own Consulting company and is working with a local medical device company focused on MRI guided radiation therapy. His focus is Operations including supply chain, site planning, installation and service.
