About Michael Gibney

Doctor of Theology, LCMS EVANGELIST 1988-1996 I started in the evangelism field at the age of 23. With my wife {a pastor’s daughter} and eventually three children, we covered the continental United States, Canada Nigeria, Germany, and South Africa. We preached in 29 states and 130 churches. It was an exceptional experience. Never were my eyes opened more to the diversity and intricacy of the body of Christ. I preached revivals in many churches and watched hundreds of people dedicate their lives to Christ. Every church I preached in proved to be a place of learning. I was educated in relationships, leadership, pastoral care, and culture. This knowledge in connection with the Word allowed me not only to preach but aid churches in these areas PASTOR OF NEW GATHERING 1997-2016 I enjoy working with people on a personal level and watching lives change. I am a teaching pastor. Through the years I've developed classes that emphasize self-study and application of the Bible. In addition to Sunday morning services, I can be found online conducting Bible studies followed by an open forum.
