About Michael Gilbert

In my current role, I lead EY's consulting business for Consumer Products, Retail and Life Sciences sectors. Our team is responsible for driving innovation and transformation through sector-centricity. My role is to lead the sales and revenue delivery of the partner team aligned to this vertical by driving exceptional results for our clients, our people and our communities. In my previous role, I led the Enterprise Applications team, advising Canadian companies on large-scale transformation initiatives enabled by ERPs. Our team was the recipient of the SAP Pinnacle Award for five consecutive years. My particular focus was helping organizations developing IT strategies that align to business imperatives and deploying technology solutions that deliver tangible business ROI. This also included SAP Transformation Journey Mapping, SAP Program Management, Implementation Methodology, Business Process Design, Value Chain Mapping, Consumer Products, Retail and Wholesale industries. I’ve spoken at a variety of industry and academic events, in an effort to help companies begin to contemplate the challenges and opportunities associated with S/4 migration, including: CRM Insider Event, SAP Sapphire and Richard Ivey School of Business.
