About Michael Giling

After obtaining a Bachelor degree in Economics started working as consultant with KPMG Management Services. After 1 year decided to move on and went to C. Steinweg Handelsveem to work as Expeditor. The year after got an opportunity to work with Transoceanic BV (currently rebranded as Agility Project Logistics) in the field of project logistics, focussed on heavy lift / special transport and big forwarding contracts for oil/gas clients. Worked 2 years abroad (in Tokyo and Milan) and within this period worked in house as project manager with Foster wheeler Italia for the Olefins II Dow-Equate project to execute the contract into Kuwait. Received Certificate of appreciation from owners for performed work. Afterwards fulfilled the job as Global Account Manager within the Project division of Agility Managing global project accounts. Responsible for ABB for all global Projects and heavy lift logistics and for Shell within the Projects and Freight Forwarding contracts. Afterwards acted as global director Business development Oil & gas working with the big oil & gas majors. Made the shift to Geodis Industrial projects in 2018, where I am working currently Specialties: heavy lift transport, RFQ contracts, logistical solutions in projects industry, tender management, project implementation, capital projects, oil & gas
