About Michael Gilmore

I am an experienced educational and business leader with over 30 years experience in motivating employees, cultivating a positive team culture and strategic planning all towards achieving business objectives. As a school administrator, I am tasked with direct supervisory and evaluative responsibilities for approximately 50 staff members. In my present role, I am responsible for the day to day operations of an educational institution that includes over 700 people. I have an extensive background in the private sector, specifically working as a Systems Security Administrator for a Global, Fortune 500 Company and serving on technical project delivery teams across the country. I owned and operated a private business for over 10 years. I have a proven track record of leading, problem solving and utilizing metrics (KPIs) to implement positive change along with evaluating, teaching and creating educational content in a variety of professional settings. My professional and educational background includes a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration (MEd), a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and an Associates Degree in Process Control. I am self-motivated and looking forward to a new opportunity where I can utilize my extensive experience and wide ranging skill set.
