Background
About Michael Gilmour
I am a CHSOS (Certified Healthcare Simulation Operation Specialist) and currently one of the only few located in Australia. I lead a team of 6 Simulation Technicians at Adelaide Health Simulation and have deep working knowledge of the technology in both it’s design and implementation. I can offer valuable insight in both the day to day running of such an environment and the challenges it presents. In addition, I am responsible for the technical delivery of over 60 OSCE exams annually to both undergraduates students and external clients such as the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and AHPRA Nursing and Midwifery. I am a trained professional actor and am involved in Adelaide Health Simulation’s innovative Simulated Patient Program. Lastly, I am also a filmmaker and I create any and all educational skills videos in-house at Adelaide Health Simulation. I have a deep passion for Simulation Based Education and love to connect with others!
