About Michael Giusto

My practice is focused in the areas of estate/trust matters and commercial litigation. I also have substantial experience in business formation and organizations and sports and entertainment law. I have represented estate representatives in a variety of matters, including representing a co-executor in contested accounting proceedings, resolving creditor claims, preparing necessary tax filings, resolving tax audit issues, forming non-for-profit organizations and obtaining letters of appointment. Additionally, I have worked with clients to develop optimal estate plans in order to protect their assets, minimize tax obligations and ensure those assets pass to their intended beneficiaries. In non-estate litigation, I have represented clients in a wide variety of commercial matters including insurance coverage disputes, bankruptcy court adversary proceedings, land use matters, conflicts between business partners and landlord/tenant matters. In the area of sports and entertainment law, I have represented professional athletes, in opposing employer discipline and in the negotiation of endorsement contracts, as well as sports agents in disputes related to fee agreements.
