About Michael Gizzi

My experiences in the concrete industry span from mixer driver to yard supervisor to batcher to plant manager to D.O.T. safety supervisor over the course of ten years. It has come to be a passion of mine to work within this niche of the construction industry. My experience prior to this was as a laborer; one of my most notable professional accomplishments was my promotion to a foreman/supervisor within the space of 3-6 months, which was the culmination of a 10-year career. To achieve my expectations, I go above and beyond what is expected of me at all facets of my positions. In everything that I do, I immerse myself to the fullest extent possible. With that said, I am always willing to learn new things, especially in specifics regarding my career, as it’s one of life’s greatest gifts, and the reward, in my opinion, is knowledge. There is nothing more challenging than taking on positions that have no to little experience, or that prefer a degree of some kind, to challenge myself, because I believe that my work ethic and the proven performance I have demonstrated on the job have helped me to excel and grow laterally throughout all of the positions I have held over the years. In addition to my own personal growth as a leader, I have also been able to become more appreciative of mentoring others in my field, helping them to achieve their goals, and working with them as a team player enabling me to develop leadership qualities I feel I haven't had before. Throughout all of my life, I have prided myself on being a well-spoken and respectful individual.
